You have a wonderful place here!  We so enjoyed our ten days here – days of pure relaxation paired with activities like driving the road to Hana, going sea kayaking and going snorkeling with sea turtles, all the beaches we visited, the Ocean Center in Ma’alaea, and then back “home” to look at the sunset from the lanai!

Thank you so much for all your help, your information, and the beautiful place to stay.  We had a lovely time!

After a 16 ˝ hour travel time from Ontario, Canada, it was wonderful to walk into your welcoming, comfortable, & nicely decorated condo.  We have had a great time here in Maui & your condo has become home to us for the past 11 days.  It has been a lot of fun riding your boogie boards, using your snorkeling equipment, & beach chairs at the beach.  Our favorite beach was Wailea beach.

We went on a snorkeling tour to Molokini & turtle town.  The turtles & coral were awesome.  After going to two luaus, the Old Lahaina Luau had good food & show, while the Royal Lhaina Resort’s luau had a great fire show.

Our ride to Hana was very long, however, we went on to Oheo Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools) and had a refreshing swim in the pool with the waterfall.  It was exhilarating.

The musical ‘Ulalena was enjoyed by all.

We awoke early one morning & made it just in time to watch the sunrise on Mount Haleakala.  We also enjoyed watching the sun set the same day on the beach.

Many days to the beach were fun splashing in the waves.  It was always nice to come home to the condo to relax after our busy days.

The ocean view from our lanai has been enjoyed for morning view, and lovely sunsets sipping on a glass of wine.

We appreciated the information you sent us.  I read them thoroughly on the plane.  Maui Revealed was a great handbook to look things up also.

Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely condo.  We made wonderful memories and had a great time.

Happy Holidays,

We have enjoyed many Maui Holidays but have never before had the pleasure of staying in such a beautifully equipped & decorated condo.  The consideration you extended to us made us feel so welcome, so much more than mere renters.  All of this enhanced so much our adventurous travels (around West Maui, through Kahakuloa & beyond to Kahalui; through Hana, hiking to Waimokui Falls & continuing by car through Kaupo, Nu’u & on to Ulupalakua), our wonderful meals (Mama’s Fish House and Molokini Bistro) & our “ohana” times at the beach and pool.  Thank you sincerely for helping make this such a special & memorable holiday for us.

Thank you so much for the use of your condo.  It was such a pleasure to stay at such a beautiful condo & so well prepared for guests!  We enjoyed the close location to the beach so we could get in some beach time before the afternoon winds.  And we also enjoyed our dinner at Mama’s Fish House.  Today was our last day (sadly) and we packed it full with adventure.  We went kayaking in the morning with a great guide from the Renaissance Hotel.  We did not see the whales on our kayak trip but luckily enjoyed seeing them from your beautiful lanai.  We then headed up to twin falls & really experienced a rain forest!  It was pouring rain but we saw awesome falls so it was worth it!  Thank you again for the warm welcome you have extended to us.  We hope to return and your place would be our choice to stay!

With Thanks,

We are at the end of 6 fabulous nights at A112.  You have created a warm, beautiful & VERY comfortable place and we thank you so much for making this a great trip.  We spent 2 nights at the other end of the island at the Ritz Carlton and we ALL AGREE we liked our A112 condo accommodations better.  The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped, we loved the beautiful master bath.  Our favorite beaches: Wailea Beach and beach in front of Maui Prince.  We took a great trip to Molokini, saw whales, turtles, as well as beautiful fish.  Enjoyed 2 fast and reasonably priced meals at KKO and a great last day lunch at a tiny drive-up place called Makena Grill out on scenic Makena Road.

We head off home to Seattle tonight.  I sit writing this on the lovely lanai as the sun sets.  All your small touches added up to a wonderful home away from home, from great beach equipment to lovely art.

We have had a wonderful stay in A112.  The condo is very cozy and homey.  It is evident that you have spent many hours decorating, stocking, and taking care of the condo.

Your hospitality is also noteworthy.  From our initial contact by e-mail, you made our rental of the condo easy and fun.  While here, you have also been very helpful.  Thank you.

Our favorite day trip was to the “Ulupalakua Thing” on April 30.  This agricultural festival should be on the “to do” list of any and all visitors to Maui (if they are here at the end of April).  Our second favorite was a visit to the Surfing Goat Dairy.  There we did the “Evening Chores Tour” – we brought the herd in for milking, took a turn at milking them and got a tour of the facility.  We also recommend Keawakapu Beach.  It is just down the road – just as you enter Wailea.  It is very pretty.  Other favorites were Kameole II and Makena (Big Beach).

The sun is setting on this trip to Maui.  We will be back (and hopefully once again in A112).

After many hours searching on line for a Maui condo, we chose A112 here at the beautiful Maui Kamaole.  The pictures on the web were nice but in no comparison to the actual “live” experience.  The living room area is spacious as are the master bedroom and bath.  The view from the lanai is amazing with a direct line of sight to the sunset.

The condo is very well appointed with 1st class beddings, nice dishware; even the flooring & furniture are top notch.  In comparison to other condos we’ve seen on the island, A112 is certainly the most tastefully done.

Thank you also for the extra “TLC” with the very informative Q&A brochure, easy access to you if we needed you, FREE hi speed internet (very nice J), and a very well stocked kitchen (so easy to cook in!)

We hope to return to Maui soon and we will definitely inquire about staying in A112 again!

This is our last morning on Maui. After our short three days here in your condo we want to let you know that we loved, loved it, loved it!

From the moment we stepped through the doors into the sleek luxury of your place we knew we made a great choice. Your home away from home provided us with everything we needed and much more.

Each morning I loved sipping tea on the lanai while reading and listening to the cooing of the birds.  Last night Bill chose our restaurant. We had dinner at the Palm Court at the Renaissance Resort. We had the buffet and felt $35 was well worth it.  It was delicious! Bill and I also ate at Tastings. This place was upscale and a wonderful place to eat if you like fine food and an extensive wine collection.

We came to Maui twelve days ago for a wedding. We stayed in Kahana, the Maalaea Bay, and last here in Kihei. Each place had its pros and cons but our favorite was definitely here. We are so happy that this was where we spent our last days on Maui. We are sad to leave.

Thank you so much for being such wonderful providers of comfort and charm. We will stay here again when we return to Maui and will definitely recommend your condo to all our friends.

Aloha,

It is after experiencing our 9th sunset from your lanai that we write our thank you note.  Thank you for the spectacular accommodations.  They helped to create an unforgettable vacation on Maui.  Our days were filled with tennis, snorkeling, island exploration, beach paradise, romance, exceptional food, etc.  We always had our home away from home to return to, and we thank you for that and look forward to our return.

Best regards,

P.S. We left a pair of beach chairs for others to enjoy the fabulous beaches of Maui as much as we did.  Have fun!

Thank you sincerely for this beautiful condo.  It really made our wedding & honeymoon special to be here.  We stayed at the Four Seasons & A112  blew it away!  WOW!

We can’t wait to come back and stay here again on our Anniversary!

Thank you –

As I’m writing, we are getting ready for the plane returning home tomorrow.  We’ve had a wonderful 2 week vacation on Maui.  It was relaxing and exciting, and best of all, timeless.  Two weeks have gone by so fast that we envy people who call Maui home.

Besides all the fun activities and beautiful scenery, staying at your condo made our trip so unforgettable.  We knew that we had made the right choice the moment we stepped in this place.  We are impressed with your tasteful decorating style.  All the modern amenities and cleanliness of the condo made us feel right at home.  The well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom are all well appreciated.  Your thoughtfulness for making your guests’ stay convenient & easy is far beyond expected.

We took many photos during our trip.  Looking at them will remind us to come back to Maui soon.  When we do come back, A112 at Maui Kamaole is the place we want to stay.

Mahalo Again,

Cassie & Tuan

Roseville, CA

P.S. Here are some of our favorite things on the island:

- best activity/lesson to take: surfing (Goofy Foot Surf School)

- most beautiful waterfall where you can take a cool dip: Blue Pool on the road to Hana

- best spot for protected snorkel: the beach in front of Maui Prince, Makena

- most amazing geological site (where you realize the insignificance of lives of living creatures compared to the forces of mother nature): Le Perouse Bay

- most wonderful place for a sunset walk: walk along the side of Wailea resorts overlooking the ocean (in front of Renaissance to Marriot Wailea)

- best restaurant: Maui Prince Sunday Brunch and Shabu Shabu Toji (we went 3 times!)

- best place for Hawaiian donut: Komoda Bakery in Makawao

- best island fruit: papaya, papaya, papaya!!

We have absolutely enjoyed our stay here in your beautiful condo this week.  We’ve felt so much at home, but with much better views and a lot warmer weather!  We enjoyed the pool, beaches, golf, snorkeling, and sightseeing as well as cocktails on the lanai watching the beautiful sunsets.

We will definitely recommend A112 to our family and friends, and hope that we find ourselves here again very soon.

We have so enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo – you have a truly stunning place and we loved all of it.  – We have stayed in Maui before, including the Kea Lani, and A112 is our favorite of all!

Thanks, also, for all of your extra special efforts for us whenever we needed it.  You went way beyond in assisting us and answering our queries.

We will always think fondly about our holiday here, and about you!

We will be back!

P.S. Thanks again – this was very special.  Gerry

Our Christmas & New Year was fantastic.  There were 8 of us here to celebrate the holidays & my Dad’s 73rd birthday.  What a way to celebrate all three on this beautiful island of Maui.

My parents had a unit in the B complex and my sister had a unit in the H complex.  All of them wanted to lunch with us because of the excellent renovations you have done to A112.  The 2 other units do not even come close to yours.  I would highly recommend A112 to anyone.

What a wonderful place.  The warmth of A112 and beautiful sunsets helped make this a perfect vacation.

Mahalo to you for letting us enjoy this time (vacation from retirement).

The Seawatch, Mama’s Fishhouse, Bubba Gump, Plantation House, and all of the other restaurants, & all of the golf & other activities were complete when we were able to come home and relax on the lanai to watch another Maui sunset.

One year later … thank you so much!

Haleakala was amazing!  We did the mile hike over lava fields to snorkel @ the fishbowl – wonderful & beautiful – highly recommend this!!!

Maui Ocean Center is another hit!  We always enjoy our adventures here – this trip a little less “planned” to enjoy the relaxation of walks, jumping in waves, boogie boarding, etc!

Thank you so much for everything you have provided and done to make our trip so much more enjoyable!

We so enjoyed seeing Kiki another year older and look forward to staying at your lovely condo again!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing place with us again!  When we came in Sept ’05, we couldn’t wait to come back and stay when we got married!

We had a beautiful beach ceremony at Po’olenalena beach and topped it off with a wonderful reception with 40 of our closest friends and family at Nick’s Fish Market, which I would highly recommend this restaurant for great service and great food (in the Kea Lani Hotel).

The weather was gorgeous and our whole trip was perfect.

Eric and I will definitely be back again.  We love this island and now it has even more special meaning to us!

Thank you for everything!

What a spectacular place you have here!  We are in Maui with a group for my brother’s wedding.  Everyone loved our place the best and we seemed to host a lot of morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the deck – loved it!  The condo is wonderfully appointed with everything for us.

The golfing was spectacular – we managed to get 4 rounds in.  What amazing views from the courses.

We had an anniversary dinner at Sarento’s which is within walking distance.  Amazing service and sunset views.  The wedding reception was at the Seawatch – awesome!  We would highly recommend both!

We would love to come back to A112 in the future.  Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Well, I’m sitting here on the lanai trying to write a thank you and I keep being distracted by the view!  This is my first trip to Maui and it was wonderful.  It was so nice to have this beautiful condo to come back to after jaunting around the island.  It was my birthday and my boyfriend surprised me – I thought we were going to Pismo Beach in California!  I hear it’s a little bit different here ……  So thank you again for a wonderful birthday weekend.

By the way, we took the road to Hana and found a fantastic restaurant in Paia on the way back – Café Mambo.  Sooo good!  Try the Coconut Crčme Brulee.  All we had were burgers but delicious.  The people next to us had Duck Fajitos that smelled great.  Next Time!

Thank you for sharing your home.  It is beautifully decorated.  You have thought of everything.  Lou & I felt very much at home.

This was the second leg of our honeymoon.  We stayed at the Four Seasons on the Big Island.  When we arrived at A112, we were grateful for all the comforts of home that A112 provided.  We have been spoiled during our 2 ˝ week honeymoon by always having a lanai with an ocean view.

Kam III is my favorite beach at Maui.  I really enjoyed the use of the boogie boards.

My friend from college grew up here and again lives on Maui.  She came over for lunch and to go to the beach with us.  She first noticed the beautiful photos of the Kohiko(?) Dancer above the bed and above the dresser.  She told us it was her cousin who now lives on Oahu.  What a small world.

Thank you again for your hospitality.  We hope to return to A112 for a future vacation.

Thank you so much for your hospitality & the use of your beautiful condo.  When you book a honeymoon spot over the internet, you are never ‘quite’ sure what to expect, but your condo was perfect.  The location, all the touches of home & the perfect weather made it great.  I would definitely recommend it to anyone!  We are especially impressed with the way you have decorated & furnished the condo.  It’s obvious you care about it & enjoy sharing the experience with others.

Thanks again for the great first stop on our Hawaiian honeymoon – off to Kauai!

We have had a wonderful vacation here in Maui and it will be hard to leave this “paradise” and go home and back to work!  From the moment we walked into your beautiful condo I felt comfortable and welcome.  The pictures on your website were fantastic but the condo is even more impressive in person.

We made good use of the pool and enjoyed drinking our morning coffees on the lanai enjoying the view.  We went to a luau, snorkel trip to Molokini (highlight was swimming with the turtles!) and beaches but the best part of this vacation was not having any schedule or itinerary to follow.

Thanks again for being so helpful when it came to booking the condo.  You always answered my e-mails quickly and provided us with lots of info on Maui.

Look forward to visiting again soon.

Mahalo for your beautiful condo and all your wonderful touches that make it so homey.  We were pleased you had the “extras” here that are always missing from a hotel room – salt, pepper, boogie boards, beautiful dishes, and the personal touches of a home.

We did some, not all, the tourist things and definitely recommend the road to Hana, lunch or dinner at Mama’s Fishhouse, The Old Lahaina Luau, viewing the crater at Haleakala, the Sunday brunch at Maui Prince Hotel, visiting Paia, and the Cakewalk Bakery, boogie boarding at Kam III beach and enjoying the beautiful sunsets from the comfort of your lanai.  This was a very relaxing vacation for us, and we just enjoyed soaking up the Maui atmosphere and beauty of the land and people.  The climate and differences in the island are amazing.  The Iao Valley is so lush while other areas are so barren!

We will definitely recommend you and A112 to our friends back home in eastern Pennsylvania as the ideal retreat on Maui.

Thank you again.

Mahalo!

We were here with a group of 24 for our wedding Sept. 23, 2006.  We voted your condo “THE BEST” out of the 6 that were rented.  This sensational condo made our holiday so enjoyable.

We had a “PERFECT” wedding day and thank everyone including you for making it so special.

We ate supper at Nicks Grill at the Fairmount Hotel.  It was expensive but worth every penny.

We booked our scuba with Maui Dive Shop & it was great!  Saw Turtles J.

We must let everyone know that if you are getting married that Al & Laurie @ Makena Weddings are absolutely fabulous to work with.  Our wedding day was flawless.  Kinga took our pictures & Craig our video.  Perfect.

We loved Maui & will be back one day!  And staying at your condo of course J J.

As promised, we will send you a wedding picture!

You are fantastic hosts!

As I reflect on the past week in Maui, I will never forget the view from the lanai, the sounds of the ocean, the great food, & the peacefulness.  Thank you so much for the hospitality of A112.  I walked in and was overwhelmed by the condo’s beauty.  I had a rough year with the passing of my mother.  This vacation was a saving grace for me and my husband.  We celebrated 25 years of marriage and can’t think of a better way to celebrate it.  We are leaving today and would love to come back again soon.  A112 will be our condo again.  It was Awesome.

The past 7 days have been virtually breathtaking.  We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the sunrise and of course the views of the sunset were equally enjoyed.

The accommodations were top notch.  We made use of all your beach equipment and thanked you every day when we loaded up.  The beach would not have been enjoyed as much without your supplies.

We visited nearly every beach on Kihei, but enjoyed swimming with the turtles at Po’olenalena the most.  Many times we felt like we had several of the beaches all to ourselves.  We even witnessed two weddings.

The sunrise at Haleakala was something words cannot describe.  We stopped at mile marker #17 and hiked to the observation tower by flashlight and enjoyed the sunrise all to ourselves.  Pictures do not do this justice.

The Black Sand Beach on the Road to Hana was also mother nature doing her best work.  The Red Sand Beach was also impressive but I could have done without the male nude sunbather.

Warren & Annabelle’s is a must do.  But forget the dinner and arrive at around 6:30.  The show actually starts at 7:00.  It was hilarious.  We never laughed so hard.  The Old Lahaina Lua was also enjoyed.

We will definitely try to make it back to Maui and A112 will be our 1st choice when looking for accommodations.

Thanks again,

November 29 – December 18, 2006

We discovered Kihei in 1973 and have come back every year since then.  This trip has been the best.  The weather was perfect, the beaches were perfect and the winds and ocean were calm.  The condo exceeded our expectations.  We had every breakfast, lunch and happy hour on the lanai, and we ate dinner inside and listened to your CDs after sunset.  I particularly appreciated the kitchen equipment and silverware.  Not once did we eat out.

The location is lovely.  We walked beaches in each direction.  Before breakfast we did our usual jog/walk down Keawakapu, then had a dip to cool off.  Every third day we played tennis.  These courts are better than some we have paid $30.00 for at Wailea Tennis Club.

Mahalo! You were a delight to deal with.  Sorry we didn’t get to meet you.

What a lovely home!  And I do mean “home” – it couldn’t have been more welcoming.  The website pictures fail to reflect all the beauty and tranquility we found here.  The tone was set with the ease of making our reservations.

We’ve lounged on the lanai while identifying local birds, and we’ve whale-watched over Mai Tais.  This has truly provided an escape to paradise.

Even from a great distance, you have the blessed gift of hospitality.  Mahalo for sharing your paradise home with us.

Wow!  What a memorable trip!  Your home in Maui seemed like our home during the last 12 days.  The condo was more than what we expected and the view from the lanai is just paradise!  We saw so many whales on our whale watching & sunset cruises on the Ali’I Nui catamaran.  It was difficult to focus on the sunset with dolphins and whales jumping around the boat.  We always make sure to spend a day at Keanae eating banana bread and just watching the waves crash against the rocks.  The scallops at Roy’s were so great I ordered them both times we were dining there.

Thanks for the recommendation for a great chiropractor.  I was fine after one treatment.  It is sad to go today but we know we will be returning next year to A112 in January 2008.  We can’t wait!

Thank you for sharing the lovely spot on Maui that you have!  Such a beautiful view to enjoy with a morning coffee and/or a sunset cocktail!  We enjoyed both pools during our stay along with ocean dips just a short walk away.

Many things to do and fabulous places to see (try the Beach & Happy Hour by the Mana-Kai) – all very accessible.  We hate to leave.

It was a really nice vacation.  A112 has a great view of whales!

It’s our last day, we’re leaving tonight.  I’m sitting on the lanai, waiting for my tea kettle to boil, hoping to catch a whale frolicking, which we’ve seen.  Thinking over the past 2 weeks, all I can say is Maui truly is paradise.  The people are beautiful and generous.  The weather is amazing, I’ve never been to Hawaii before.  We’ve spent most of our time seeing the usual sights, however, my fondest memories will be of the beaches and the ocean.  Having spent little to no time in the ocean, I sure did this trip.  I even learned how to snorkel!!  Our favorite place to snorkel near Kihei was Ahihi Bay.  We also enjoyed Makena Landing.  My personal favorite was Honolua Bay.  The only drawback is it’s about a 45 min drive!  (Imagine, that’s nothing for me back home).

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.  We were comfortable from the second we walked in.

The “Explore Maui” book is the best.  Lots of good info.

We’ll be back, and I’ll tell everyone I know about A112.

Thank you so much for sharing your vacation home with us.  It truly is a home away from home.  The weather has been wonderful after a couple days of a bit of humidity without the trade winds.  It was a much needed break from Oregon rain and cold.  We loved your location, so close to walk to everything.  We especially enjoyed the beach path across Kihei Rd – it goes for miles and our new favorite beaches.  Lunch and dinner at Café O’Lei were excellent.  Moose’s taco Tuesday was fun and filling (try the kalua pig taco – wow!)  We enjoyed a lot of pool time and hours on the lanai.

Thanks for the beautiful retreat!

A112 ROCKS!!!

We love the beauty of your condo and the view we admired!!!  Thank you for all your amenities provided in your home.  We felt very much at home.  We came and saw how clean your home is kept and made sure we left it that same way as we left for home.  We come to Maui every year for a week & spent the 1st week at another island before we spend our final week in Maui.  Aloha to all & God Bless you for sharing the Beauty of your home.

(1) Excellent Snorkeling Spot: Ulua beach

(2) Best Fishing boat: “Finest Kind” leaves at Lahaina pier #7.  They have AWESOME captain & assistant named Chuck,” Awesome guy, lots of fun.  We chartered the boat for an 8 hour fishing spot.  Caught lots and they filet all the fish caught on the boat.  It is so much fun to catch & eat your own fish, freshly bbq’d

(3) Best Burger: Cool Cat in Lahaina on Front Street; the very best Big Big burger at good price

I was greeted every am by the seabirds.  Lovely & peaceful A112 was very relaxing for the quiet moments needed by just watching the sunset every evening.  BEAUTIFUL!  Don’t miss it.  Thank you, Wen-Lin, John, and Kiki for sharing your home with us.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us.  We had such a great time seeing the sights on Maui and having a warm and welcoming “home” to come back to made our trip so enjoyable.  We have fallen in love with Maui and plan to return – hopefully A112 will be available!  Thank you Wen-Lin for all of your recommendations.  Mama’s Fish House was absolutely amazing.  Our highlight was the snorkeling tour to Molokini.  We saw a fascinating array of colorful fish and turtles!  We also very much enjoyed the Road to Hana.  The CD guide we bought is on the bookstand under the stereo.  We have no need to take it home with us – hopefully someone else can make use of it while visiting.

Well we had no idea of the breadth and beauty of this place!  Every day was unique, with unexpected findings and discoveries.  This location was PERFECT, A112 is really WONDERFUL – Thank You.  If you are the next guest reading this, the Safeway was best grocery, before you go deep sea fishing, ask if they’ve been catching any fish,, skip luaus and go the Mama’s Fish House for splendid, elegant atmosphere and food in T’s + shorts instead.  Lava flow way down the road is very cool, the crater national park is stunning, the radio station “Keno” is wonderful if you are a late baby boomer – all music from high school, mid to late 70’s made all the drives very full of smiley singing.

Thanks for the hospitality!!

We have come to the end of another wonderful stay!  Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us again.

Samantha & I share some wonderful memories of our trip.  Maui is a “healing” place - .  We head back to Chicago with a lighter heart.  School starts soon so we will hit the ground running.

Maui is such a wonderful escape for a mother/daughter vacation.

Thanks again,

Thank you for sharing your A112 home with us once again.  We had a fantastic week here enjoying the pool, beaches, & local restaurants.  We also played golf & saw the sunrise at the summit of Haleakala, and went on a day trip to Lanai where we snorkeled & enjoyed the beach there as well.

We loved returning to A112 each day, relaxing by the pool and visiting with other guests.  You have a beautiful home here in A112, and again we thank your for letting us stay this past week.  It is like home away from home with a much better view & a more relaxing atmosphere.

We hope to be able to return in the future.  When we do, we sure hope we can return to A112.  Thanks so much …..

Lovely spot, great accommodations.  Thanks for thinking of and providing so many things from beach chairs to salt & pepper shakers (with the condiments!)  We had much sun, and swam, snorkeled, and played tennis.  Always a sad time to leave, especially to go home to the “grey!”

We have had another great holiday on Maui.  We had some great beach days, a trip to Molokini on the Kai Kanani, wonderful snorkeling & saw 3 whales, mom, baby, & male escort.  The golf was fun & enjoyable.  We enjoyed some great meals out and at the condo.  We loved your condo.  It’s big and roomy, beautifully equipped.  We have had a wonderful time here.

Thank you for sharing your condo with us.  This is our third time in Maui, and we enjoyed our time here just like it was our first time being here.

Our wedding at the Wailea Golf Course and Seawatch Restaurant was wonderful.  Everyone was very helpful and the wedding turned out great!

Thank you for all your suggestions and the well stocked condo.  Everything we needed was provided, and it made our stay very relaxing!

Hope to be back again next year!

What a wonderful home you have here on Maui and how fortunate we are that you shared it with us!

We had a wonderful time – drinking coffee on the lanai in the morning & then evening cocktails.  The view is perfect.  We had much fun – snorkeling on a Trilogy trip to Molokini, surfing lessons, and days at the beach.  The waves at Big Beach were incredible!  Our daughter had the best time and we were lucky to have family staying in other units here too.  We found out that Mark’s daughter’s mother-in-law’s unit was your 2 bedroom condo.  Small world.  Thank you for all of the comforts of home you provided!

Aloha & many thanks for the use of your vacation home.  The sunset views from your lanai were truly magnificent, home was very comfortable!  We had a marvelous time snorkeling, boogie-boarding, BBQing & touring Maui.

Our fav snorkel spot: Malua Bay, Makena (take very 1st right past Maui Prince Hotel to park).  It’s a gentle bay for both swimming & snorkel – no need to take expensive tours as you can see all kinds of fish & even turtles near the shore.

Cirque Polonesia was good; the Mala Restaurant at Marriott in Wailea was Excellent.  I also enjoyed a LomiLomi at their spa too.

Buzz’s Wharf is famous for their prawns.  For sunsets: Makena Landin; also Mala Restaurant at Marriott in Wailea.

Attended Sunday morning service at Keawala’i Church, Makena.  Service was meaningful – both in Hawaiian & English; superb musicians & exceptional, friendly people.

We certainly had a wonderful relaxing holiday to help us get through our Vancouver winters.

Many thanks& our warmest Aloha,

Mele Kalikimaka!

It’s Christmas day in Maui!  We will return home tomorrow.  This was my husband’s first trip to Hawaii and he now wants to retire here!  We have had the most wonderful time!

We have snorkeled, caught mahi mahi fishing, survived the beautiful Road to Hana, and shopped till we dropped.

We want to thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home.  My husband now wants marble floors in our kitchen that we are remodeling!  Yeah!  We hope to return soon!

ALOHA!  It’s April 4th – Easter Sunday – our last day on Maui.  We are returning home after a GREAT 10 day vacation.

This was our 6th trip to Maui and was just as fantastic as all the rest.  Somewhat different – and surprising – was the experience of holding an octopus that was caught by some friendly local gentleman.    And minutes later, two whales surfaced, not 200 yards from shore!

As always, A112 was our very appreciated home away from home.

This is our first trip to Maui & we loved it!  The weather was perfect, the condo had everything we needed & was the perfect place to relax and watch the ocean.  We had some fabulous meals – especially at Mama’s Fish House and went snorkeling & whale watching.  The road to Hana was an adventure & views/waterfalls beautiful.

This has been a great holiday and we hope to return soon.

Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful - and fully equipped – condo with us.  After a long trip through Nevada + California, we found here the time to relax and reload our batteries to start the return trip home to Europe.  We had an awesome time at the beaches, on the Road to Hana, on the terrace with a million dollar ocean view – and during the traditional luau at Old Lahaina Luau – where I celebrated my 30th birthday.  We wished we could stay longer and benefit from the weather, the sea, and the condo!  Thank you again.

Once again we want to thank you for sharing A112 with us.  We had a wonderful time in Maui, enjoying golf, sightseeing, the beach, restaurants, and views from the lanai, and relaxing by the pool  We met many nice people and had some great conversations with residents and visitors.

It was very nice to be able to stay in A112 again, and we hope that we will have the opportunity to return again in the near future.

We are happy to be able to spend some extra days here this trip.

We are here at your beautiful condo, and very much enjoying ourselves.  All your directions were very easy to follow and our check-in went very smoothly.  We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai this morning and even got to watch some whales frolic past in front of us.  What a sight!  Thanks for having the binoculars to use.  Well, off to the sunshine,

It is hard to believe that three weeks have gone by. We have completely enjoyed our selves with great food at Mama’s Fish House, the Sea Watch, Bubba Gumps and many other wonderful restaurants.  Of course Eskimo Candy always has great food and spectacular fresh fish.

The Whales have been just going off everywhere that we look. Both ends of the island were spectacular with flowers, waterfalls, surf, wind, rain, and sunsets. ( and lots of golf)

We want to thank you for allowing us to use the A112 Condo for our stay. This has made for a very special and relaxing visit.  I hope that you understand that taking a vacation from retirement is a healthful and necessary endeavor. We will return and I am sure that everything will remain as beautiful as it is now.

PS. We love the night lites. Where did you get them?

Let me begin by saying you have an amazing condo! Your attention to detail is breath-taking.  We are so pleased and honored to spend the holidays in your home.  And, it really is a home.  I read the guest book and it must be so affirming to you that everyone speaks so passionately about your care and concern to each and every detail.  Jim said, “you can tell she cares so much about others.”

Okay, let’s talk about the confusion... (not that it matters).  I thought I had paid attention to every detail.  This past few months has been extremely busy...yes, even more than usual.  As well, we have had to deal with a number of issues...I guess I took a deep breath and knew I would be able to find solace in Maui...in my heart this island is my second home.

Thank you so much for recognizing my position and dealing with Jim (he is amazing).  Do not worry about our hotel, it is totally my problem.  Jim was able to put our groceries in your refrigerator at noon (we had purchased lots of perishable stuff prior to checking...my fault)

So, the saga is over.  Now, I can sleep knowing we are settled in and ready to relax for the next several days.  What a wonderful blessing.  Thank you so much.

Now I can breathe, and once again I must say your home is so welcoming.  I know this will be a wonderful holiday and it will be peaceful.  The view from your living room is amazing...all the events of the past day seems so minor.

Jim asked me to check with you if it is possible to book time next year???

Once again my thanks and a heartfelt apology.....

Warm regards,

                                         xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas day.  Our day was extremely relaxing and uncomplicated.  We went for a long walk up to the Grande Wailea and down by the ocean …. We have seen lots and lots of whales …..

We wanted you to know how much we are enjoying our stay at A112.  The view is breathtaking, I think I can gaze for days into the ocean and never tire of its beauty!  I don’t think there is any place we enjoy more …..

This is our 15th visit to Maui over the Christmas holidays.  We know we want to return to Maui for our holidays next year.  We would be interested in reserving A112 for December 27 – January 15 or 16?

Again, I apologize for the initial confusion.

Hope to hear from you soon ….enjoy your holidays.

Aloha and Warm Regards,

We are having a great time in Maui. Your home here is wonderful! Just a quick

question. The iron is not working properly.  Do you want us to replace the iron? (we were planning on using it) If you want us to replace it, let me know how much to spend and where to buy it. You can also pick out the model you want, and we will look for it.

Your condo is starting to feel like home to us. We will really miss it when we

have to return to CT.

                                         xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We bought a GE iron at Walmart yesterday. The owner's manual for the iron is above the fridge with the other manuals. We also purchased a new ironing board cover. We stained your cover with water when we left the iron flat on the board. This was our fault and we will take care of the cost for the new cover (minor expense).

We are having a great time. We have one more day to enjoy Maui. We are heading to the beach. Spending time at the beach has turned out to be one of the things we enjoy the most.

Thanks for the heads-up about John's novel, Catchers in the Sky – Mission: Korea. We are excited to read it and very happy for you both, congrats!

No worries about the keys, Your housekeeper came to our rescue and saved the day. Things got a bit comic, in that we think our gracious upstairs neighbors have somehow misconstrued, amidst lots of bowing, that we are the owners!

We are having a wonderful stay here, and we absolutely love your place (you've thought of everything, thank you). Julia even found one of her favorite books on the shelf, which I am reading now: Art and Fear.

I thought you'd like to know that your beautiful lanai was the scene of a proposal last night!

Hope you and your family are having a great time in Europe right now. We are having a great time in A112, and it has been a great experience.

The unit has been great, and is a testament to your dedication. The upgrades are great, and it is very enjoyable. We looked at some open houses in the complex, and this is a great unit !!!

Michele would like to know where you got the coverlet on the bed, as we would like to purchase something similar to take home. We love the red hawaiian pattern.

We went to the Randy Jay Braun Gallery in Makawao and purchased the pictures you have up on the wall...we love the Hula theme. We are having them shipped home.

All in all this has been a fabulous trip. We are heading home on Thursday night, and will look at re-renting your home in the future.

Have a great trip, and I will talk to you soon. I need to use a different card for the refund of the damage deposit when you get home.

We arrived yesterday on time with no issues.  Your condo is as beautiful as we remembered.  Since we knew that we would be up early this morning, we planned to get up and see the sunrise on Haleakala.  It was very clear and totally awesome.  We spent the rest of the day at the beach and pool.  Now we hope to catch the sunset from the lanai in about an hour.  It's been a couple of very long days, so now it's time to start relaxing.  Thanks again for letting us use A112 again. We are looking forward to a great week.

If you have any information on a good massage company, send me a note.  My back so far is doing much better, but some preventive medicine in the form of a massage may be good. Marjie is also interested.  If you have any info, like I said let me know, but don't spend a lot of time doing research please!

                                                         xxxxxxxxxxx

We just finished packing up for our departure tomorrow, and wanted to drop you a quick note to Thank you once again for sharing A112 with us.  I can't believe the week is over already!  I'm coming to realize that a week is not enough time on Maui.  By the time we start to relax it's time to pack up and go.  At least we have a few more days here in Hawaii, as we are going over to Kona for 4 nights.  We will leave a note in your book on our stay, but to sum it up in just a couple of words it was wonderful.  Your home is beautiful and we just love it!  I show your website to friends quite frequently, and had a friend who is coming to Maui in early November seriously consider it, but decided to stay closer to family up near Kaanapali.

We were able to golf, visit the beaches, do Sunrise at Haleakala, shop, sight see, and follow our Chicago Cubs, who aren't doing so well in the playoffs.  Again staying in A112 was one of the highlights with the view and everything you've done to make it a home away from home.

We enjoyed the sunsets and the conveniences of home.  We didn't use the massage therapist, as after a day in Maui I started to feel very good.  I thought that by the end of the week I would need it with playing golf, but the time relaxing by the pool and in the hot tub was all it took.  Thank you very much for checking however, and I hope it wasn't too much trouble.

I need to finish getting ready for our departure tomorrow, so once again, thanks for everything and I hope we are able to return again in the future.

Much thanks,

Bill

Just a quick note to let you know we arrived early this morning.  Weather has been a challenge for everyone across the country.  Vancouver was no exception, yesterday we landed from Edmonton to a pretty healthy snow storm.  Planes were delayed and have been for days...

We were so fortunate to have a pilot who was determined to get us to Maui.  From airport closure, to limited snow plows, to flight attendants missing and de-icing procedures we touched down to our beautiful island...and most importantly no snow!

Everything looks great, as usual.  We are so happy to be here.  Relaxation and rest is on our to-do list and just a heart beat away.

Thanks again for your support and compassion...

Happy New Year to you and your family.

Our first week has just flown by.  Everything is going smoothly and we are enjoying all of the new comforts you and John have added.  The new sheets and towels are a pleasure to use and although I must be the only guest using an iron I really do appreciate the new one.  Thank you for leaving the full salt grinder and pepper mill. I even found some vodka and rum in my box.  Thank you.  It has been put to good use.  Love the additional storage bar in the shower and the plantings you have added on the left of the lanai.  The new lanai furniture is very easy to clean and the chairs are especially comfortable.

Ralph is enjoying watching the pro football this afternoon so I have a moment to catch up with my email.  We are playing bridge at the Maui Bridge Center four times a week so I have reconnected with many old friends.  Not enough energy left over to have people over for dinner, however.  Feeding Ralph takes up enough time and I love walking the beach.

*********

Please accept my sincere apologies for phoning you so late in the evening and for such an unimportant issue.  We were certain that the Maui cable company had decided to distribute a few converters on this side of the Pacific.  You were both so calm and gracious at that late hour that we found ourselves quite embarrassed for having bothered you and possibly awakening someone.

The tv's here are all in good working order, the sun is shining and the trades are gently blowing.  Wish you could be here too.

Aloha to you and Kiki.

Thanks, Wen-Lin.  We'll be leaving by 11 as, just off the top of my head, I think our flight leaves Maui at 2 pm.  Just enough time to drive in, return the car, and get in line for our boarding passes.  Ralph waters your new plants every time he washes off the lanai and they look very nice.  The weather is a bit overcast today but temps in the high 70's and no wind.  Perfect.

Will phone Jose today and have him remove the folding mattress from the owners closet and put it in the bed/bath closet.  Will also put everything back where it belongs.  We have had a very comfortable visit and do appreciate all of the effort you make for your renters. We awoke to a beautiful, sunny, Maui morning.  Know your next guests will love it.

Have a safe trip.  Will stay in touch.

As always we thank you for all your care and support to make sure everything at A112 is comfortable.  It truly is a home away from home.

I have washed all the towels, bedding and dishes.  Hopefully this will give the housekeeper a head start and we have left her $20.00.

We are already looking forward to our holiday back to Maui the end of April.

Talk soon and take care,

As always, Dave and I are having a great time especially on the whale watches.  Dave took the best pictures so far on this trip but the whales helped him out quite a bit.  We are going on the Alii Nui every other day.  The catamaran is new and what a beauty.   They still keep the number of people very low unlike the other companies.

I'm in love with Bev Gannon's cooking on this trip so we just have one more of her restaurants to go which is the old Sea Watch.

I just discovered the Eskimo Candy fish market so I've been buying fresh seafood and fish daily and trying new recipes.

Now for some condo news.  We love the condo and the view.  It never gets old.  We feel it's our second home.  I know we reserved for 2011 but we'd like to reserve for 2012 now if possible.

I'm guilty of ruining one set of your sage green towels with my facial treatment.  I bought a new set at Macy's that is close to the color of the previous ones and hopefully the same quality to replace the set.

We're off for the Wailea Beach walk before our whale watch.  I just wanted to update you since I feel bad about the towels.

Hope things are good with you!!!!   We just love it here!!!

*********

Dave updated his web site but just got started since we've been out and about most of the time.   You'll like the turtle slide show with the pictures that were taken across the street.  Also, the music and story.  I used to have a turtle as a pet for years that I rescued.  His name was Sammy.  Although my Sammy was only 6 inches long this sea turtle reminded Dave and I of him so we named him Sammy.  Great breach pictures this year also!

Dave restricted his current pictures from printing and downloading but will  turn it off for you whenever you want to download any pictures to use on your web site.   Just give us the word and it just takes a second to turn it off so you can download.

Going on a sunset cruise tonight on the Alii Nui!!!

*********

Sunset cruise was great as usual.  Two hours on a boat is always wonderful not matter what.  Off to the upcountry today.

*********

I understand.  We have become so lost without access to the Internet.  It would drive me crazy.

Well, the sales assistant Macy's is getting to know me well.  As I was looking at my pillowcase today, I notice some spots from my facial treatment. Unbelievable!  The woman at Macy's matched up the towels pretty well so she helped with the king size pillowcases.  I called Costco and they only sold the sheets you bought in sets so I could not just buy pillowcases.  So I did find Martha's brand at Macy's where the colors and sheet quality seemed the same.  So you'll have 3 king size pillowcases for the blue sheet set.

Sorry again!!   Finished up our last night at the Tikki Lounge with a great  band and pina colodas.  Sad to go but we do miss our dogs.

Thanks again for everything and hope the rest of the year goes well for you  now that I'm not bleaching your linens with my face.  : )

Aloha!!!

Just a quick note to thank you for arranging for us to walk through J205.  It looks great...

Hard to believe we willing be leaving Friday night...only nine full moons until we come back to Paradise.

On another note, can we book for Christmas, December-January 2011 for A112?  We would like to book A112 it for a month beginning December 27th.

Aloha and look forward to hearing from you about 2011.

Thanks again,

Wow, Wen-Lin, sounds like you are having quite an adventure getting here. You don’t need that after the stressful week you’ve been through.

We’re packed up and are about to leave (plane departs at 9pm). We’ve had a wonderful holiday and feel very privileged to have the opportunity to come to Maui. The way you treat us makes us feel special.

With regards to 2011-2012, please book A112 for us now. Can you place a courtesy hold on J205 until we’ve had a chance to stay there in Dec/Jan. Initial impressions are very positive and we’ll probably take it for the last portion of our visit but we’d appreciate a chance to live in it for a few days to be sure.

Cheers and much aloha,

Here’s a couple pictures of Eric and I having fun in Maui.  Weather is beautiful and we are just relaxing for the most part.   One pic we are at the Maui Brewing Company Oktoberfest and the other is Halloween.   We forgot our costumes, so this is what we came up with.   What a blast in Lahaina though.   Glad we were here for the festivities.

Oh, and we love (especially Eric) the new recliner couch.   Very comfy.

Have a good week

It's about 3:00 on Monday and we are settled in and heading to the pool.  We got here at 2:00 (after Costco, Kmart and Safeway) and everything is super!

Please thank your cleaning crew for getting things done in a hurry.  A-112 truly feels like home.

More later; I just wanted to let you know all is well.

Sorry we weren't here to take your call, but we were distracted somewhere in

paradise, probably the beach.

The condo is lovely!  You weren't kidding about your personal touches and attention

to detail.  We are very impressed.  We're very happy to be your customers.  We'll

take notes, and if anything goes wrong or seems out of place, we'll let you know.

We really like the coverlet on the bed.  Did you find that locally?  We'd be

interested in getting something similar for our home.

So to summarize, we're about a ten out of ten for our Maui vacation so far.  Thanks

for providing a great place to stay.  As Joyce's student's say, you rock!

We arrived late last night to our beautiful paradise.  Boy!!!  You have made some great changes,  The love seat is really beautiful, I love the art (elephants in the bathroom) and the washer and dryer look amazing.

It is so wonderful to open the door and now you are just minutes away from a relaxing holiday.

We will need to coordinate our move later on, but for now we just want to relax and soak in the air.

As always, we thank you for the opportunity and privilege to be apart of the A112 loyal clients.

Enjoy your New Year’s and

Much aloha,

We are still trying to work out travel arrangements for Dec 2011 to Jan 2012. I think the dates will likely not have to change by more than a day or so.

Can we also reserve the same time slots for Dec 2012 to Jan 2013 and Dec 2013 to Jan 2014? You can put the deposits through on the credit card you have on file.

Can you also confirm the time you would like us to move to  J-205 and the number for the parking stall. We have the combo for the lockbox.

I replaced the battery in the phone in the kitchen. It wouldn't hold a charge for more than five or ten minutes.

Thanks and aloha,

*********

Thanks for getting back to us. I appreciate your quick response.

The replacement battery cost $24.99. Please let me know if you would like me to mail the receipt to you or leave it someplace in the condo so that you have it for your taxes.

I accidentally knocked the small bowl off the table near the front door as I was bringing in groceries, the one that has coral rock in it. Karen replaced it today with a koa wood bowl that matches the bench – it looks quite lovely. I apologize for my clumsiness and I hope the replacement is satisfactory to you. If not, let me know and I will take care of it to your satisfaction.

I recall you mentioning in an earlier note that the twin beds in J205 could be put together to make a queen bed. Could you have John or Wendy do that? We have friends joining us from Edmonton for a few days and I think they would appreciate.

The whales were near shore just before the rain settled in and put on a spectacular show for us.

As you can tell, we love it here. It really is paradise.

Aloha,

*********

Not to worry. Everything has worked out the way it needed to.

Wendy called us this morning and told us that someone would pick up the rugs and I assumed that was per your instructions to her.

We've had a wonderful stay in A112 and we are actually looking forward to the move to J205 and the opportunity to share Maui with good friends. We know the high standards you set and we are confident that we will be happy in the new surroundings.

Not to worry about 2013 and 2014. We just wanted to let you know our intentions and  get our names on the list. There is a possibility that we may want to increase our time here to two months starting in 2013. The airlines still haven't released travel dates for next December but we will let you know as soon as we can make our reservations.

I'll let you know about our departure time next week after we get settled in to the new place.

By the way, John was right: the new love seat is romantic.

Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Cheers,

I believe the previous guests left a bottle of wine, a Men's shirt, a mirror in the bathroom, and I think that's it.   If you can get in contact with them they can call Dave to see if we are here for them to pick up or we can drop off.

We just love the new loveseat which is great for the two of us to use our Kindles.  The new washer and dryer look great also.  Thanks so much for upgrading the condo all the time.  We just love it here.  We have been sitting outside drinking Maui dark rum with juice and the weather is perfect.  My sister called and said they already have 5 inches of

snow today.  We are so glad we are here!!!!

*********

We just bought some wine to go with my meal tomorrow.  We also purchased some

scallops at the Eskimo Candy fish market and will be having a feast tomorrow night.  We're taking my brother and his girlfriend to Mamas Fish House for our wedding anniversary on Saturday so I'll get my B-Day dinner then.  Too expensive to go out for both occasions and I love cooking in the condo.  I can't believe how cheap the proteas are here.   For $9.00 I got a huge bouquet at the Farmer's Market.  I keep fresh flowers in the condo throughout our trip.

We can't wait for the Packers/Bears game on Sunday.  It's strange having a football game on at 10:00 a.m.  There are a lot of Packer fans in Maui and a few in the condo.  At 10:00 a.m. I'll have to serve Mimosas to my brother and girlfriend.  : )

Thanks again!

We stopped at Safeway on our way in and arrived while Wendy was still here but had a lovely rest sitting on the lanai while she finished.  We leave on a 1pm flight on the 15th of March.

The new chair is wonderful!  Neither of us had ever used an automated power recliner.  It is very comfortable and our preferred seating.

It is so nice to be here again.

Wish you could all come over.

You should see the new washer and dryer.  They are a miracle of modern invention.

I have been using the make-up remover pads.  They are a great idea and should save your washcloths.  I brought a packet over with me (Costco brand) but they won't last the entire time we are here.

My best friend from Canada is arriving in three days and will be staying with another old friend who lives in Wailea so I am really looking forward to seeing her.

All is going well and your palm tree is growing taller than the wall.

Hello from Maui.  This has been a big day.  We have been involved in a two day bridge tournament on Friday and Saturday and our house keeping chores had mounted.

It was a beautiful day here so we washed down the lanai but unfortunately the water wouldn’t turn off at the small hose line on the lanai.  Ralph says it has had a very slow drip for the last couple of years but this was a full stream so I phoned the condominium manager who came around almost immediately.  He said the inside of the tap “key” had been stripped and would need to be replaced.  The condo resident manager had said a new part for the tap could probably be found up at Ace hardware so we popped into the car and drove on up to Azeka’s.  Ralph put the new part on the tap and the water shuts off easily now.

We also took up John's suggestion that we assemble the new lamp in the storage closet.  It is just what we need to read and do my needlepoint.  I really can't just sit while watching TV so both of us like the light.  Our eyes are no longer what they used to be.

Also, Ralph just told me to take a picture of the new washer and dryer.  He thinks we need one to save on water in Eugene.  Quite frankly, the only real catastrophe that could ever occur in Eugene is a flood should all of the dams break but it is a wonderful piece of equipment.

Sorry this is so long.  Much Aloha,

As our flight has been rescheduled, we must leave a bit before 10 am on Tuesday.  I phoned Wendy to let her know she could come in an hour earlier.

We have had a lovely time.  We are looking forward to 2 months next year.

The weather has been very warm this week but we have never needed to use the air conditioners in all of the years we have been here.  Take care.  Much aloha,

III.  Guests Comments Emailed After Visit

We want to thank you again for your patience and help during our first trip to Maui. The condo was indeed a treat! Comfortable, extremely well stocked, in great shape and a most convenient location. The whale watching from the patio was terrific.  Nice touch with the bottle of wine and popping corn in the micro-wave.  John was a great help with suggestions for alternate accommodations for 2 unplanned nights when our departure was changed as a results of weather problems back home. Eleanor was thrilled with the facilities he recommended. (His suggestion to put hat in hand and see what kind of upgrade they might be able to offer resulted in a most prime ocean front room (at no extra charge) that helped make Eleanor's birthday even more special.)

Our trip was a great success. We did lots of driving to discover the many facets of the island and enjoyed the wide variety of beaches we searched out or stumbled across. What a treat to find yourself alone on a spectacular expanse, or pocket of beach almost everywhere we went.  In contrast to most other southern winter escapes we have visited, we were impressed with the cleanliness, lack of "vendors" and the feeling that we simply were a natural fit with what the island was all about.  We didn't feel like tourists - just welcomed guests.

If you have other prospective guests who have the same apprehensions that I did about blind booking over the inter-net, I will be happy to serve as a reference. Feel free to give my inter-net address or phone number to anyone who needs a little bit of extra assurance before they commit.  It would be our pleasure to endorse the top-notch quality of your

facilities and hospitality if that helps someone else to the pleasures of a vacation such as we enjoyed.

We have book-marked a return to Maui as a must in the near future. You will be hearing from us when the timing for that is set.

Thanks again for being such wonderful "hosts".

owner’s note: Rob specially requested to meet us, since we were on the island then as well, so I popped over with a bottle of local wine and our three year old in tow and chatted for a bit.  Popcorn is probably courtesy of a previous guest…..

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo.  We truly enjoyed the comfort of your condo and all your helpful assistance.  My massage was wonderful.  I am sorry you had to meet me in the parking lot.  I would have loved to have you come in for a visit.  Shawne arrived later than planned so everyone was delayed a bit.  I even wish my family kept busy longer so they did not hang out in the parking lot!!!!  That added stress to my very relaxing massage!!!  We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the beautiful view from your lanai.  All of our friends agreed we had the perfect set-up.  I think our friends learned a lesson that renting from an owner really makes a big difference.  I think that is great you get to stay so long in Hawaii.  You are very lucky to have that flexibility job wise.  We have been swamped at work since our return and our computer at home is down which is why I did not get this off to you sooner.  Hope all was ok with the condo after we left.  We did leave food in the refrigerator (some things unopened!!! – hard to plan)  I tried to start the laundry (beach towels) in case you had back to back guest.  Thanks again, it was a pleasure meeting you!

No apologies necessary. (Owner’s note: Both lanai screen doors were being replaced by new ones and had been taken off awaiting delivery during this guest’s stay.)  In fact we had a wonderful time, the place was awesome and we would be very happy to return using your place during our next stay.

It was a pleasure to meet you and we both want to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful/relaxing condo.   It was so relaxing sitting on the back deck watching the sunset and sunrise each day....didn't want to come back to California and the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day responsibilities.

Again, thank you for being such a wonderful host/hostess, was indeed an excellent vacation.

We are so sorry that we did not write an e-mail until now. It was too much going on since we came back home. I had started with a new job, Oksana had started with summer physics class and Irina was catching up with missed classes at school. We were really overwhelmed with all this.

Finally things are slowing down a little bit. I gained some momentum at my new job, Oksana started feeling that her physics class is interesting and Ira had her last day of 4-th grade today.

Probably it is little bit late to say, but it’s better late then never: we are so glad that we had you as our guests at Ira’s birthday and we all had such a wonderful conversation. We wish we had more time to talk but time did not slow down for us.  But still the memories about the great evening are something that will stay with us.  Ira was so happy that Kiki came and they played together.  Kiki is such a nice girl and Ira wanted to thank her again for such a pleasant present and a wonderful box made by Kiki herself.  We wish she grows up happy and healthy, enjoying every period of her childhood.  We wish you all to continue being a very happy family.  If you are ever going to be in Orange County we hope we could meet again.

Thank you very much for the postcard.  It was very pleasant to receive such a nice note when we came back to California.

Sergey, Oksana and Ira.

P.S. I was thinking of writing a very nice review to tell your future guests about how surprised we were with the level of comfort we had at the condo, because everything was so much prepared and so well maintained to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When we entered the condo for the first time, we had a feeling that we are at our own home or at a home of one of our relatives who cares about us very much. We felt that we should have planned our vacation to be two times longer.  One of the last mornings of our stay our daughter had tears in her eyes because she did not want this beautiful vacation to stop. We are so grateful for all the advices and help you gave us, it really helped us a lot to spend our short vacation with the maximum pleasure.

Owner’s note: Our guests had invited us over for Russian tea/dinner and we brought over a cake to celebrate their daughter Irina’s 10th birthday.  We enjoyed the most pleasant evening out on the lanai, the company was wonderful and the conversation interesting.  I sent them a thank-you card and that was the note Sergey was referring to.

Aloha and Mahalo, both A112 and J205 were fantastic.  The amenities were great.  Everything was fantastic, I have already referred a friend to you and your condos.  Anyway, If you ever get to DC give me a quick note and I can get you in for a private tour of the Capital...

Samantha and I arrived safely home yesterday morning at 5:30 am (yawn). After catching up with my husband and unpacking I went straight to bed and just woke.  The flight is tiring but well worth it.  Just wanted to thank you again for your lovely accommodations. It is much more relaxing than staying at a resort with tons of people milling around. It was a perfect place for a mother/daughter vacation.  I look at my daughter now and wonder where the time went. I am fortunate that Samantha wants to spend time with me.

I would love to rent from you again and will contact you once we have '06 schedules.

I just wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful condo. We really enjoyed our stay there...

We tried to get some wedding photos done before we left but just could not make it happen. We thought it would be really neat to send you a wedding photo as you were part of making it so special. Just let me know where to send one and I would gladly send it. We did not make the dirt bike ride but got some BEAUTIFUL Hana pictures...These photos look like post cards. We had originally planned on hopping Islands but loved it here so much we never left Maui. It all went by so fast...Thanks again....for the wonderful service you are truly a joy :)

Can’t wait for our next visit …

Words can hardly express the joy and serenity that Maui brings to us.  We fall more and more in love with the island every time we visit.  Your condo helped us enjoy our trip even that much more.  It is a truly wonderful home-away-from-home.  Thank you for everything.  It was wonderful.

Thank you for EVERYTHING!

It is so hard to come back to work after a wonderful vacation. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us.  We stayed at the Whalers for the first two nights. It
was a standard studio rm, comfortable but nothing fancy.   It gave us an opportunity to experience west Maui since it's the first time we came to Maui. We also visited different
resorts on the island. The one we liked the most was the Maui Prince Makena. It was quiet, intimate and had beautiful grounds. Their beach was great for snorkeling. The friday night sea food buffet and sunday brunch were excellent.

I left an entertainment book in the condo for your future guests. I also left some comments in your guest book to share our Maui experience with you and other
guests.

I am sure that some lucky Maui visitors are enjoying your condo right now and having a wonderful time there.

Thank you again for making your guests feel at home.

Take care

Sorry it's taken me so long to do this, but I wanted to thank you for making our stay so enjoyable (9/22 to 10/1).  Your place is absolutely wonderful.  We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is staying on the island, and of course we would love to stay there again too. We searched high and low for somewhere to do the reception, and Eric and I just were not too impressed with some places and most others (other than an expensive hotel) just doesn't have enough room for our party (which really isn't even that big.)   So now I'm trying here at home and still looking.  Thanks for all your help though and ideas.

Hope you had a great trip to Europe!!!  Will definitely keep in touch and let you know when we'll be in Maui again.

Thanks again for everything!!

Well we've been back for over a week now and gotten right back into the day to day activities.  I've been meaning to write one more time to tell you how much we enjoyed A112.  You have a beautiful place and it was so hard to leave.  We did leave a note in your book, but I also wanted to let you know how much we loved returning to Maui.  We enjoyed the beaches, a snorkeling trip to Lanai, sightseeing on the island, golf, relaxing at the pool, and sunsets on the lanai. The weather was ideal.  Can't wait to return!!

Like I said before, I've already mentioned A112 to many friends and relatives so hopefully in the years ahead they will also contact you. Thanks again for sharing A112 with us.  We will be back!!!!

We are now home...have been for a week, in this dark cold place we call 'home'...arrived at 3 am in the cold, having to scrape frost off our windshields..not a promising welcome!  But, at least we weren't greeted by snow, which is a possibility at this time of year here!

I was so pleased that you liked our gift, and I would be thrilled if you took the towels back as your own...anyhow, they were a small token of appreciation for the wonderful time we had while we were in A112....

You have been so generous in sharing what you have learned, and in providing your philosophy of service and of care that so beautifully translates in how you set your condominium up.  The place sparkled and was clean and lovely....Wen-Lin:  you are absolutely correct in maintaining and fighting for high standards re: maid service, even though it must be a continuing hassle to make sure that it is happening.   We loved all of the thought put into the place, i.e., asking yourself what you would like/expect, and then providing it.  I also think, because you are currently so 'hands -on' about both Units, that you will reap benefits, both in learning what you will be able to not worry about, and also in securing clients/visitors who care/learn to care to take care of your place as if it were their own, or better, if you are lucky! I think we are always surprised/disappointed when someone else does not share the same values/respect that we do....the risk you run in the business, I guess.

Anyhow, enough of my rambling...We do so appreciate everything you have done for us, and for your ongoing concern....we are friends, even if we haven't met!  And, I will be watching your 'availability calendar' and trying to work out just when in 2007 we will want to book....so watch out for us!

Many thanks again for your kindness, concern, and for a providing us with a wonderful place to visit.  (Oh, yes, the family wedding at the Seawatch restaurant was stunning, and everyone had a lovely time).  Best wishes to you, John, and Kiki, whom we will meet some day!

Just a note to thank you for everything. We cleaned the place up well, I believe, and exited per your instructions. Tough trip home, but we did enjoy our stay. It was an absolutely fantastic condo!

The night before we left for Maui (Jan 2), we had a tornado here and it downed 4 trees - three of which hit the house and my son's car. I almost decided not to come, but our builder (who is now a friend) and insurance agent convinced us to go - so we did.  I had both my vehicles in the garage and couldn't drive to the Atlanta airport (150 miles) so my sister took us. What a start - and on NO rest!

I'll be dealing with that now, but still I am glad I went - It was very nice.

Thanks again for everything.  And I am enclosing a couple of pictures of what the storm did (10 hours before we were to leave to go to Atlanta!).

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your condo. All of our friends and family just loved it and couldn't believe how beautiful it was and how great the view was...

Our ceremony and reception went perfect.  Couldn't have asked for a better day or better weather and a beautiful spot.   If you ever want a nice, quiet beach it's the Po'olenalena beach right passed the Wailea Golf Club. There's a yellow gate and a parking lot. But instead of going down the main entrance to the beach, look to your right and there's a little path that you can follow and it goes over some lava rocks and then on a nice secluded beach... (I've heard it's a nude beach) but the four times we went there and on the wedding day, we never saw any nude sunbathers (only a guy in a skimpy g-string).  At the end there's a beautiful romantic cove and that's where we had the ceremony.   When I get some pictures I'll forward them on. I left you some of our flower centerpieces in the condo.  They held up really well and I didn't want to throw them away, so I hope you were able to take them and enjoy them.  There was also a bottle of wine for you to enjoy or to pass on to one of your guests, just to say thank you soooo much for everything!  And I'm sorry we weren't able to meet you.  I thought for sure after the wedding everyone would want to do their own thing, but no, we were invited to lunches, dinners, outings, everything.  Eric and I were planning to do a couple things, but it was just so fun having all of our friends and family there that it was hard to pass up.

So hopefully next time we can get together....

Again, thank you for everything and always giving us a wonderful place to stay.  If any other to-be brides need any info, don't hesitate to ask.  I had great experiences with all the vendors I worked with and with Nick's Fish Market too.

Have a great stay in Maui !!  Talk to you soon,

Aloha!  I have been meaning to drop you a quick note just to thank you again for helping us have such a fantastic vacation!!  Your condo was incredible - it was everything plus more than I imagined.  The weather was great when we were there and overall it was the perfect holiday.  I only wish it could have been longer but we will definitely be returning!  Hope all is well with you and your family and again, Mahalo!

WOW!!! Your condo is even more beautiful than it appeared in the pictures. We were so pleased to have found your website, and even more pleased that we were able to rent A112. Jim and I had a marvelous time in Hawaii, both Honolulu and Maui were absolutely amazing and beautiful.

In Honolulu we found it very strange to have a major beach right inside a major city. It would be like having the New Jersey beach right beside Independence Hall in Philadelphia. We enjoyed our all day tour and would recommend it to anyone who has a short time on Oahu.

On Maui we did lots of exploring, over 750 miles on the rental car, in only 11 days. We enjoyed most of all the peace and quiet of A112 and the lovely view from the lanai. We tried to have a very relaxed vacation, and we succeeded. I wrote some comments in the guest book and agreed with the other writers that you have done a superb job decorating and making your condo feel like home. We appreciated all the little touches, like having
tupperware containers, freezer packs for the picnic cooler, and a good ice cream scoop. We discovered Roselani's classic macadamia nut ice cream. It's a good thing we don't live in Hawaii, our cholesterol count would be through the roof! We did enjoy lots of fish dishes too, especially our lunch at Mama's Fish House.

We will certainly recommend your condo to anyone who asks where we stayed in Maui. We visited two open houses at Maui Kamaole and were not impressed with either of them. In fact, A215 was open, and it is rather plain for $988,888.00. A112 is much prettier and more up to date.

I also greatly appreciated your quick response to all my emails, you are a very conscientious owner and it made me feel much more comfortable renting sight unseen. Thank you very much for all your help, the booklets, and making our Hawaii vacation so memorable. If you need a reference please feel free to give out my email address.

Our best to you,
Kathy and Jim

I am truly sorry for just thanking you now for the fabulous stay in your unit. When I arrived back home there were some urgent things to take care.   We all truly enjoyed the ambiance of A-112, and it was most appreciated for those quiet moments mixed in with all the activity of seeing beautiful Maui. I think we were under water most of the time. The children could not get enough of the ocean and pool.

Sadly, I did drop one of your stoneware pieces, a soup bowl, as I emptied the dishwasher. It was the white one with small geometrics around the edge, in blue or blue/green. (cupboard on the right, believe you a had setting for 5.)   I have been online at some sites, but have yet not found a source for replacement. It was marked The Cellar, and also Federated, meaning possibly from Marcy's, Robinson's, May, etc. I thought I took a photo of it; it may be on my daughter's camera. I will check with her. That would help us find the replacement.  I realize that you may have to purchase at least a setting for 4. I would be happy to pay for the cost of completing or replacing the setting.

My daughter and her children left the island Monday evening, the 28th, and I left Tuesday morning about 9 am. I hope everything was in order for you.

A special thanks to you, Wen-Lin, John, and the gentleman that got us back into the unit after being locked out. I was very happy and relieved upon return from the airport to get into the unit with my family. You saved us from a small "crisis." Your availability from the beginning, Wen-Lin has been exceptional and very much appreciated.

We will certainly pass on to our family and friends the sanctuary of beautiful A-112.

We had such a wonderful time in Hawaii and your condo was absolutely the best!  We loved everything about it and are already saving for a return trip (we will absolutely be staying in your place).  We kept the condo immaculate as it was the best way to enjoy it!  Once again thank you so much for everything and the place is just perfect.

Thanx!

Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you again for letting us rent your beautiful Maui condo.  Brent and I had a wonderful relaxing holiday and hated to leave.  It felt like home going back again this summer!  I rave about how incredible your condo is and the grounds, pool etc. to all my friends and fellow teachers and can hardly wait to develop my pictures to show them. Brent is already asking me to book for next summer - we can't think of anywhere else we would rather be!  I hope that is OK and I will let you know our dates soon.  Hope all is well with you and your family.  What grade is your little girl in?  I am slowly trying to get back into the "work" routine.  I have a large class this year-32 kids- but they seem to be a pretty good bunch.  Again- Mahalo and I will get back to you soon about reserving for next summer!

Thank you so much for the use of your condo which was much better than we expected, and we expected a lot from your pictures.  I hope everything was fine when we left.  I did wash the towels to make it easier for Norma, and left a few things we couldn’t take with us for her.  Hopefully, if you will have us, we would like to return in about a year or two.

We first arrived at Waikiki for twelve days.  Although we have been to Waikiki before, you always can find something wonderful to do.  My nephew is a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force, is stationed at Hickam Air Force Base, and was able to show us the base.  He was tied up for a week because of President Bush’s plans to stop at Oahu so we were lucky to see him for one day before the cruise.  Philip and I also went back to the Arizona and the Missouri and did some swimming and snorkeling.

The cruise was great and we rented a car at each port.  It was kind of relaxing since we have taken a cruise of Hawaii before.  Hawaii is nice to see it from the sea, and we were on the Pride of Hawaii which is the newest ship.  The food was the best of any cruise we have sailed.

Maui was wonderful.  We drove around the entire island, went to the Aquarium, visited Hana ( Your cooler was great!), went snorkeling, and swimming. John’s advice helped us a lot with snorkeling. The sunsets from your condo were spectacular, and I might even have a picture that I took which is good enough to frame.

When we arrived at your condo, we had trouble with our convertible top.  The car rental company had to bring us another car and tow the one we had. Your security company was right on the ball and checked the towing company out to make sure they weren’t stealing our car.

After we left your condo, we went to Hawaii for eight day.  Two days were spent at Volcanoes Nat’l Park, and six days were spent in Kona at a condo ( I would rate that condo a C+) where we snorkeled with tons of fish and swam with the turtles.  We also took a boat trip twice to the preserve near Captain Cooke’s.  It was crystal clear with beautiful coral and fish.

We absolutely love Hawaii and hope to get back for a third time soon.  You were wonderful, very helpful, and your condo rates an A+++.  Hopefully you will rent to us again.

Thanks for all your time,

Joanna

It seems like just yesterday that we were in A112, and meeting you...and yet almost 2 weeks have gone by since we have been home.  It was very nice to finally meet the three of you, and to spend some time together.

We had a very relaxing time in A112, and as the time went by, became very lazy, but it did us good.. We are looking forward to our return in November.

Oh, yes, Gerry read John's book, pretty much nonstop, and very much enjoyed it. We put a plug in for it (citing the Condo copy that you left in the Unit) in the Guest Book, so I expect your other visitors will be interested in reading it as well.

Good luck with your future trips, and with the London posting, if it comes to pass.

Hoping we can meet up again some day.

Hi, Randy here.  Got back to Chicago 5 AM yesterday, half an hour ahead of schedule!  When I left the condo there were some canned goods and two bottles of wine that the cleaning crew can consume if they wish.  I tried to leave my home for 9 nice days as clean as when I got there.

The accommodations could not have been any nicer!  And thanks for your directions, the trip couldn't have been any smoother if you don't count that pesky undertow at Little beach that sucked my car keys into the deep!  Dang!  Maybe we'll do business again some time.  Bye for now..

Well, I’m finally getting around to sending you our comments on the condo!  Sorry, it’s taken so long.

All in all, we loved the place!

The location was perfect for us, and the views from the lanai were very relaxing.  We liked being close to the beach, and close to the trail that heads south to Wailea.  We were able to walk down to a couple of really nice beachfront dinners!

Hands down, you have the best equipped kitchen of any condo we’re stayed in.  In fact, next time we look for cookware, I’m going to try to find the Kirkland set you have.

The beach equipment was a nice touch.  The furniture was nice.  And, it was all in good condition.  That’s somewhat rare in Hawaii, unfortunately.

We will return at some point.

You asked me to give you some information on the place we staying on Kauai.  It was a very mixed bag.  The location was wonderful (Princeville).  The views were great.  The maintenance of the unit left a lot to be desired.  We stayed at the Cliffs at Princeville.  I think most of the complex is timeshare, with a few owner-rented units (we were in an owner-rented unit).  That complex needs to spend some money on exterior work.  And, the interior furnishings were more the standard condo faire.  I’m probably going to look at other complexes in Princeville next time we go.

Last, you asked to see my photos.  Between dealing with about 2,500 images between the two of us and several software issues, I finally have everything uploaded.  If you have any problems, let me know.  The software is fairly sophisticated, but also a little flaky at times.  But, it’s free.  I have not had the time yet to Photoshop the pictures that need it, so some of them don’t look as good as I’d like.  But, if there are any of them you want to use (and it won’t hurt my feelings if there aren’t), let me know and I can send you a file that’s more appropriate for a web page.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for the week at your lovely condo.  All was just fine.  All is in good working order.   The bug spray man came yesterday.  There weren't any bugs but it was the routine spraying.  I've recommended your unit to a friend in Vancouver; she's interested in some time in the spring.  New lanai furniture is very comfortable and new 600 thread count sheets were lovely.  Now it is back to the miserable snow and cold that we are having in the Pacific Northwest; it is most unusual to have it cold and snowy this long in Vancouver - we'll miss the sun and warmth, snorkeling, etc etc.

Aloha and happy holidays,

Minus Aloha (Minus Aloha is when you have to go back home, but still says Hi),

We made it back to South Carolina - and we are still jet-lagged out. But we had a great time. We thank you for all you did for us. By the way, we went to Sansei (sp?) for a special early dinner. This may sound like an odd choice, but we never went to that type place before (sushi/seafood thing). But we really enjoyed it!

We did all the towels (placed them back as they were), sheets - folded and back in the closet, and cleaned up the kitchen, put away (cleaned) all dishes, windexed the dining table and a couple of mirrors etc... All the stuff you would expect your guests to do.  I also replaced a bulb in one of the hanging kitchen lights (was out when we arrived). Also, we left a good size styrofoam cooler in the closet. And 6 brand new, unopened bottles of water in the fridge for the next guests.

It really isn't that much but we had to do at least all we could to say thanks - especially the staying late part. That made a HUGE difference! You were so right about that.

Anyway, thanks again for everything. As soon as I finish this note, we are driving back to Charlotte to help our daughter with the grandkids again.. After that, I hope to spend a few days at home. Doing nothing.   Except cutting the grass.

Thanks for putting our picture up.  I enjoyed looking at other guests' pictures too.  Also, thanks again for making our trip so enjoyable.  I can't believe it was already a month ago. Eric's already planning the next trip in his head, so I'm sure we'll be back there same time next year.  He just took another test, so keep your fingers crossed, and then he has one more in October, and we're hoping that will be it.

We found a wonderful restaurant up in Kapalua in the old Kapalua Bay Club, called Merriman's. Fabulous food and great location.  We also went up to Haleakala and had a perfect sunrise.  No clouds in the crater at all, just in the horizon.  Wonderful hike down Sliding Sands trail too.  Two years ago we couldn't see a thing, in the crater, so this was wonderful.

You have a safe 4th too and I'm sure we'll be keeping in touch later in the year!  I'll attach a couple current pictures too.

Thanks again for everything,

I just wanted to again thank you for everything you did to make our stay in Maui pleasant.  We loved A112 and hope to someday be able to stay there again.  The trip was wonderful and we were able to spend time with our family as well, which made the vacation even better.  Mark's daughter Emily stayed at Maui Kamaole too and her mother in law, Barb and her husband Dennis stayed in your 2 bedroom unit!  Talk about small worlds!  We realized that when we were talking during the first night as a family and Barb and I were mentioning how thoughtful the owners of our condos were.  Then we realized we were both talking about you.

Again, thank you so much. We had a wonderful stay.

Gerry and I would just like to say many thanks for allowing us to rent your condo in Maui. We did comment in your guest book but want to personally thank you.  We sure enjoyed our stay and our holiday was very restful.  We loved having dinner on the Lani and watch the sun go down.

I have passed your name and website along to a couple of friends - one group are Chris and Caley who are thinking of going in Dec. for 5 or 6 days so I told them to check your place out as it is such a busy time in Maui.  Looks like you just have enough space at the time they were talking about.  They are such a lovely young couple.  Let me know if they book with you.

Thanks again.

*********

After our friends viewing our photos, you may be getting a few more inquiries as they were totally in awe of your place.

We cleaned up your condo a little before your official cleaner arrived - swept the floors, took care of all dishes, washed all the towels and took out all the garbage and recycling. Hopefully there was not too much left for John to do - probably the bedding and the bathroom.  We tried to help out where we could and as time permitted.

We would love to book with you again the future.

Thank you again.

Hope you are all enjoying your time in Europe - it is a very different kind of holiday than Hawaii but very educational and interesting.

Joyce and I are back in Juneau, fairly tired from a delayed flight to an overnight stay in Anchorage and short sleep before the final leg home to Juneau.  Thankfully, we've got indelible mental images of sunny beaches, an inviting ocean and lovely hours productively spent doing not much of anything.

Altogether, our time in Maui was as close to perfect as we could hope for: relaxing, comfortable, restful.  Much of the success of this trip we owe to your excellent accommodations.  It was such a pleasure to stay at A112.  I'm pretty sure that time spent on the lanai is not subtracted from our earthly span of years.  Thank you for your insistence on quality and your thoughtful attention to detail.  It all made for a

wonderful vacation.

I hope we left the condo in the condition you would like to find it after a stay, but there were a couple of loose ends; I suspect there always are.  Food: we planned as well as we could, but we just couldn't consume everything, so there are a few items in the fridge.  I hope Wendy can make use of them.  I wanted to make sure you knew, in case no

one is scheduled to come by for some time.  We decided not to purchase binoculars, because we were reluctant to commit you to prices that can range from inexpensive to exorbitant.  We actually got along fine without.

Once again,Wen-Lin, staying at your place was in large part responsible for our having such a wonderful time.  Joyce pointed out that the beautiful grounds of Maui Kamaole, the relative quiet, your high quality furnishings, all contributed to our enjoyment of Maui.  We'll certainly keep you in mind the next time we think about a trip to the island.  And

we've already begun bragging about you to friends, two of whom are regular Hawaii visitors and who seemed very interested in our description of your place.

Aloha, and thanks again.

Sorry for the silence since we stayed at A-112.  We came home the 23rd of Dec, then went straight to Charlotte for Xmas with the Grandkids.  Anyway, we've been a little wrapped around the axles with some family things but are doing good.  Just wasn't able to slow down to even say Thanks Again for all you've done; and let you know that we really enjoyed the trip.

It was steady, not too busy, nice. We went to Haleakala (first time since 2004) and were two of about 10 people up there. And it was CLEAR out too... you could see the big Island! Very nice.  We didn't get up early to do Haleakala - we just went up after sunrise, like 9am or so. It was still the most fantastic thing. Everything was crystal clear... look at this shot I am attaching of the crater! Unreal!  And we also went to the needle (Iao Valley) this trip - first time. That's the second pic.

Anyway, more later but, just wanted to say thanks again. It was a really nice stay for us.

We had a great time in Maui and loved the condo. Before we left Jamie said she already missed the condo. We definitely want to stay there for our wedding next year. We don’t have the exact dates yet but when we do I will contact you. We will want the one bedroom unit as well as the 2 bedroom unit. We would like to contact other owners that you might reccommend in the area. We expect our wedding date to be may 17th but it may change if we are not able to get the venue we want.

I hope we left the unit in a satisfactory condition. This was our first time in a condo and we do not know the usual protocols or standards. We did a load of sheets and towels before we left. We left some cheese and butter in the fridge, maybe the next renter will not have to purchase that. We also left some spices and rice. Hope that was ok.

Thank you for allowing us the use of your gorgeous condo. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.
